CIBC Registration Requirements

CIBC has made setting up your Verified.Me profile as safe, secure and private as possible. They’ve also made it as easy as is reasonable, in order to protect your data. The following is what’s required to register for Verified.Me with CIBC:

Prerequisites Prior to Registration

1) The CIBC mobile banking app installed on your phone 2) An active online banking profile on the CIBC website 3) An active mobile phone number and email address associated with your account

First Time Registration Identity Validation Steps

You will be sent an authentication code via text message to the mobile phone number or via the email address you’ve chosen to provide. *If you have not provided a mobile phone number or email address, you will be given the opportunity to update your account with this information.

Registration Completion

1) Once you have had a chance to review your basic personal information, you will be given the option to “Agree”, validating the accuracy of your information, or to “Cancel” and leave the registration process entirely. Please note that you will be required to “Agree” to your basic personal information each time you sign into Verified.Me after successful registration. 2) From here, CIBC will verify your information. This process may take a few minutes. You will be notified when verification is complete. Please follow the on-screen prompts to navigate back to Verified.Me. You’re all set!
